how to send money from an altcoin paperwallet?

hello there, I would like to create a paperwallet for vertcoin (and possibly other altcoins), I think I got the part where I can create it and then send money on it, but if one day I want to withdraw the coins how do I do it? I know that for bitcoin I can import the wallet somewhere, but how would I do that for vertcoin for example? thank you!
