Hello, i am new to mining and plan to start with Monero. So i'm asking for some opinions on what your experience. What do you used to mine, laptops? computers? any hardware like antminer, VPS or cloud?

what is the average H/s you guys have?

rx 480 8gb , ~720-730 per gpu, about 80 Watt due to afterburner info.

thank you for sharing? so how about CPU? is it not as important as GPU?

Not really , CPU is pointless.
My next CPU will be low power CPU at least 65 Watt and lower....
If you look at AMD FM2 or AM3 - 95 + watts crazy.
Intel also some very high 95 + watts

You can get lower CPU power users for Intel and AMD

I get 300 per i7 (2600 stock/3770 stock) and ~600-800 for various Xeons, so its not nothing.

oh cool thanks!. i have an i7-3770. is 300 H/s is consistent for that CPU?
