it is downwards when we compare with bitcoin but with usd, it slowly increases the price. Litecoin is suitable for micro transaction and moreover, it can provide many useful functions which bitcoin do not have and litecoin requires a lower fee than bitcoin. And litecoin transactions are much more faster than bitcoin

I also be thinking litecoin may be the next pumping coins as currently to me litecoin is under value. Ethereum, some months ago was were litecoin is today but we can all testified how Ethereum has become a very huge crytocurrency today. Litecoin provide now another opportunity to buy cheap.

Every coin has their pattern, but buy now profit later? until when I must wait?. Your post is not complete, no more explaining about it. Depend my strategy is not that high, LTC is stable coin with little volume. Invest with LTC need long time period, huge money and big patience. See their price action history and watch carefully, there's no speculation. Be careful with this coin, use just 10% your money for investment. Good luck.

These replies are kind of silly. The charts say this is going to at least test the all time high. The only way it doesn't is if the whole bubble bursts. I would be careful listening to advice on here, including from me. Nobody is right 100% of the time and a lot of people have an agenda.  My advice.. buy when everybody hates it, sell when everyone loves it.  I would not be buying ETC over LTC at this point. LTC was the second. It will get respect like bitcoin, especially with the recent developments with lightning network, segwit, etc.

There's a good chance this displaces ETC and NEM to take the number 4 spot in the next 7 days. (even though NEM is better :p)  I don't know what ETC brings to the table to sport it's spot other than being a fork of ETH.

I would say litecoin neither grows nor goes down. It is stable around $27 IMO. However, some big jump forward seems very likely to happen, for fastness of transactions becomes more and more important and btc can not provide that. I guess its peak is not reached at all, but 100$ so soon is too optimistic.

There's been steady accumulation into the sell walls on GDAX. I think I'll take my own advice and pick some up. Just a hunch, and looking at the technicals.

Shit.. I go for a jog, come back and it's gone up $3 and made me $3000.  That was fast.  New all time high. Smooth sailing to $40+  The trend is your friend.     Technically we did have a spike to above $38 back on May 10th so I suppose that's the level we test and try to break above.

It's nice that GDAX doesn't charge you any commission if you are a maker. That's pretty freaken sweet. No surprise there are so many bots there.

If i saw the last halping block of litecoin, litecoin's price had increased and the next halping block of litecoin will happen soon, maybe because of it, the OP made prediction litecoin's price will be $100 and going up to $400, but the OP don't gives more his opinions about his statement of litecoin's price.

there is a lot of hype circling litecoin and a lot of developing power is being invested in it these days specially from bitcoin developers who are working on the same projects as LTC devs related to SegWit. and for that i can see a rise.

also i find the fact that price has stayed above 0.01BTC price after the dump as a very good sign that there is enough demand for accumulating LTC at this price range. by the time i am writing this price is 0.0108BTC.

with that said i am not suggesting any kind of big investment at this point. everyone is busy with other 1000s of coins, which is why it is best to invest in those that are rising >100% at the moment (such as small altcoins that have not been pumped yet) and enjoy the profits and then invest those profits in LTC by the time it starts rising.

I had set my eyes on litecoin for a long time, but the price movements is very slow and compared to other alt coins the movement a bit stagnant despite that there are big news about litecoin and how segwit is going to elevate the litecoin usage and position on market, I don't think we will see litecoin reach 100$

that's a long way from now and the price rise due to LTC halving will only happen at least 3 months before the actual date which means if you want to make profit from that particular pump rise it is best to get in by that time and until then use your funds to trade and make profit elsewhere.

it still is a long way from its ATH BTC rate, which was  around 0.04 BTC... Which means against current BTC prices $120.
It is BTC's first born son. Slightly different DNA (Scrypt) but potential to rise above its father. LTC has been around a lot longer than most coins. It offers a secure mining network.
I really hope ltc will get more integrated in every day live. It would be great if micro tipping is possible(integration with gaming/social apps).

I have got 100LTC now but where can I know this news ? LTC is rising up but not much I can depend on this fact.
I think it will only hit 60$ at the end of this year .
