I have few ltc by now and keeping it.  I would sell it when price reach high enough to make decent profit from them.  Anyways, its price keep increasing little by little. Hope it pumps soon.

I really wish the price of litecoin could go for a good ride and could see over $50 let alone see these astronomical figures,lets see how things will go,i am not here against the ride,but it is the only coin to see any major rally despite being one of the first coins that ever exist.

Litecoin has been around for a long time but I don't remember it being more than $40 even back in 2013. Its kinda interesting that it didn't pump more during the bitcoin rally this year while ETH skyrockets without ever having a real correction. I think it has a good use case in terms of usability like micro payments while bitcoin is more a store of value like a digital gold. $400 or even $100 dollars is overly optimistic but who knows...it does have Segwit.

There where many better performing coins then LTC over the years! If you put 100% in LTC then you missed out yuuuuuuuuuuggggggggggggeeeeeeeeeee as the American President would say!

Since you are much experienced but still to say that it will reach 100$ with a big confidence is not fair because everything needed to grow only when they are with the better technology , better economical support  and good response by the people to get interest in that .
Here I myself made a decent amount of the profit from.the last.month but now I am thinking that it is not easy for the litecoin to jump with big level because reality behind this is that Thier are many altcoins which have technology equivalent to ltc , so I don't thin this will grow fast as another more famous altcoin .
But still I have just bought of value 0.04btc , because of the news of the owner to work with ltc with high concentration and leaved the job from the coinbase services .
So here chances to small grows are still able .

What exactly is the benefit of litecoin? I still see it as just a weaker version of bitcoin. People keep saying it is cheap but all I see is the fact that its already had its major pump based solely on one dev joining them full time and segwit activation. What happens when bitcoin activates segwit, does litecoin die?

I think buying LTC now to avoid missing out, is not a good idea for me, because LTC price was stable. I don't know if in the future price of this coins were straighten growing up. However it's up to you beliefs because I'm not sure if my speculation in this coins is right.

Litecoin is going to get back to its old all-time highs  of ~ $60 in coming weeks.
Once it goes above that, it can run to  100 and higher easily.

I believe ltc will settle at around 45$ for a while before pumping up but not more than 60$ in the end of this year .
Of course, it depends on btc price after August, 1  .

This is much better than the post that started this thread because it explains the advantages of LiteCoin instead of just pumping the coin. Once someone understands the advantages and differences from other coins, they can decide if they want to invest.

If this were true you wouldn't be spreading the information as it would be self-fulfilling. LTC has major problems, the first and most important is ONE person owns 1/5 of all the nethash. Go look at the difficulty charts and watch how they "instamine". LTC was cool in 2012-2013.

buy litecoin now and then use litecoin to invest in the long period of time then surely the results obtained is much greater than is used only in the short term only.
