Is it even possible to write dynamic hash algorithms that cannot be imported easily to perform better on (GP)GPU?
Only if it requires A LOT OF memory. Ok, thats not feasible. It would be nice if these hashing algorithms could include some 3D/CGI operations so that instead of developing FPGA/ASICS, a better multipurpose graphic cards were developed That would require all the graphics operations a modern card can do. Or at least a lot of them. Otherwise you can implement it in a cheap FPGA/ASIC. IF you use all of them the die space/gates used would not be worth it. Going a bit off topic.. Could it be possible to use 3D Mark or any other 3D benchmark with the hashing? I mean that can you create a mathematically solid hash algorithm dependent on 3D imaging power. So instead of wasting all the hashing power, it would provide a motive to create more modern graphics cards.

So, it's either set an alarm for 5:30am or leave it till i wake up. Earlier adopter benefits vs. sleep...

All righty, a coin that is incompatible with all current tech, but only the OP has code ahead of time to make better miners.
I see this going FTC/CNC big.

GPU miner seems ready. Just need the files from pocopoco now to test it out How do you know the client will feature an interface to an external miner? The litcoin RPC getwork response already has a parameter named "algorithm". Its value is hardcoded to "scrypt:1024,1,1" I wonder what has to be modified to run scrypt 512 instead 1024. Is it just the number of iterations?

If what i am hearing in chat is true people have gpu miners ready for this. .. that looks really bad for future of this coin if people going to hold those back and basicly premine the piss out of this right at the start.. GG miners dump scam coin? if the op is serious about this coin he should address this right now.
