Please post the sources first so I can compile and fire it up before the other 90% non-savvy users. At least I'll have time to change the code to push the value of N into my cgminer-hack for GPU mining.

I believe he stated he made other small changes to scrypt, so you'll need more than that simple hack Tongue

The wallet miner will be single threaded you do know that?
OWNED

Yet more mis-information:

Code:
miner@miner-2:~/yacoin/src$ ./yacoind help setgenerate
setgenerate <generate> [genproclimit]
<generate> is true or false to turn generation on or off.
Generation is limited to [genproclimit] processors, -1 is unlimited.

Also, running on code that does not reflect what's going to be released.

If its not locked to one thread, can someone explain why it is such a benefit to have CPU mining only instead of GPU?  Whats the buzz about CPU Only?

What about a competition? I'll mine 120 blocks alone and then release my blockchain.

If any of you geniuses who compiled from "source" went and read the code, you'd realize that it was only the naming changes and a few small changes that are actually in that git repo right now, and they're 9 days old.  In other words, none of the scrypt changes are there, so you're mining on code that is completely irrelevant and will get you nowhere Tongue
