I'll scoop the other 5@1.35 if you are enforcing the 10 minimum and Thujone stole 10 of pierrejo's 15 Smiley

Thujone created account on May 27, 2011, 12:54:17 PM
JaredR26 created account on June 10, 2011, 12:51:30 AM  (less than two weeks after Thujone)
I wouldn't have gone there if this bet didn't conveniently extend the betting by an hour less than 20 minutes from the deadline...

I assure you that is the case, prior to today I have never had any dealings with JaredR and I give him permission to post our PM transcript if there is any concern.

I also find it kind of interesting that JaredR's account also was registered in 2011, made 1 post, then didn't post again until a month ago.

Coincidences!

99.99% both of these people are someone else on the forum and these are the anonymous accounts..

Hah.  I actually did the same thing as Thujone, lurking until early this year.  I had no reason to post.  So it isn't surprising that people do that.

If Thujone is ok with it, I'll post the tx id when I send him the dividends/receive payment.  Beyond that you'll just have to trust him/me, I'm not sure what I could do to convince you.  I don't think anyone is going to bid anything else, so I have nothing to gain by extending the auction, except your ire, which I don't really want.

If the previous bidders are ok, we can end the auction now.  I just want to be fair.

I'll screenshot our communications and post that, since Thujone gave permission.

Sounds right - I'm done with this auction. For everyone interested - Highly recommend https://btct.co/ for ASICMINER-PT shares.
See you at the next auction, I'll stay clear of those "Adds an hour every new bid" in the future - where there's money, there's manipulation.

Also if really desired, John K or someone else could confirm that we are different IP's, etc.

I am ok with both your suggestions as well as posting my PMs to you to prove intent even before the auction end.

I apologize for any trouble my timing has caused you, certainly the last thing I intended was to sour the auction.  I genuinely am Thujone, and use this handle on many forums.

Or you could just turn into an asshole for no reason.

I've asked John to confirm if he can that we are different people.  I'm not sure how I could prove it, you guys are just jumping on a coincidence over nothing and then jumping straight to guilty.

Why would Thujone and my account's both be registered within 2 weeks of eachother in mid-2011?  Well lets see... What happened in mid 2011... Maybe the huge price spike and crash that introduce hundreds of thousands of new people to Bitcoin?

After the crash I had no reason to post here.  I got my information from reddit/r/Bitcoin, where I am still active.  I had no need to come to this forum until I discovered asicminer early this year.

Okay sounds good.

I'll be home in an hour so we'll get this show on the road.

Just one quick question, and I don't feel like it needs any more poking and prodding but I like to flip through things, and your post:

Is there any hard limit? I want to sleep tonight.
Exactly, 1h after last bid is too much

If everyone was ok with it, I would lower it to a 30 minute period.  Unfortunately there are some people who can't constantly check this, and I'd be risking being unfair to them if I changed the rule now.  One of the first AM auctions I bid on had a ~6 hour protection, so there's definitely precedent for this.

Yet in your post history I don't see you bidding on an auction, just on that orderbook thing there which is more like an exchange than an auction.

Again sorry if I feel like I'm being CSI on something that doesn't matter but I just wanted to point it out, and I could be totally wrong.

I bid from another account.  I PM'd you with some more info.

The price on btct.co is now 1.485/share.  pierrejo, you can find more of my shares among the market depth > 1.5.  Happy buying at a higher price.

People before the dividend were excited about the dividend.  People after the dividend were reinvesting dividends(and still are).  I'm guessing the next 3 weeks will be risers as the dividend goes up.

PM's sent to winners.

My address is:

Thujone's transaction is complete(pending Friedcat transferring the shares):
http://blockchain.info/tx/9cacd67c28973f957adb2a8b85ecd90f19842debccff06c5c34b0787afc4b762

Dividend:

I'm also (obviously) ok with skipping an escrow for anyone who wants to- At least one other person is skipping escrow.  (muyuu should probably use an escrow due to the size of the transaction)
