November damn that's not good. ETH is catching up & catching up fast. I wish these assholes would put aside their differences & reach some kind of consensus for the good of the entire bitcoin community.

Bitcoin has several plausible solutions but the community is so large that consensus is absolutely impossible to reach. I mean even without special interests it would be.

That being said I don't see any of the proposed compromises or other "solutions" working, the simple matter of the fact is everyone needs to learn to give in a little. I think this can only happen after a crash in the price of bitcoin to make people realize its compromise or die.

Yes... I have recently resigned myself that is is more prudent to store wealth in Ethereum. I never thought it would happen. Bitcoin is strong but Ethereum seems just a bit better.

I meant to say some wealth...but sure why not?

I invested $1000 in bitcoin in 2013 and have it in various coins( a lot in btc) I have many many times more now of course. I intend to leave some wealth in, as the bubble has probably further to run

But it's true that such big quick gains can be intoxicating, but ...well...leaving some exposure to new technology can be prudent.

we are making progress, it is not like everyone is just lying around waiting to see what happens.
the problems is, these things take time. you can't expect something as big as bitcoin network which has been growing for 8 years in both miners around the world and millions of users (represented by their opinion and mostly by the nodes they run) to all come to one single consensus over night.

and don't forget about all the road blocks! all the different types of attacks against bitcoin in the media and from known people trying to take control of bitcoin one way or another.

If Bitcoin does not sort itself out any day soon, then many other Altcoins will slowly eat up the Marketcap that Bitcoin has and has enjoyed right up till now. Bitcoin is struggling now to get over the 3K USD mark but ETHEREUM is rising by the hour. I think it will be very sad for every Bitcoin holder to see Bitcoin go down and be surpassed by other Cryptos just because of Greedy Miners and Stubborn Developers.

Let look at the daily usage for eth...we could round it to zero to avoid to many decimals.

I don't know where do they get these horrible imaginations on where comes to a point that altcoin is already beating up bitcoin.It may have a problem on scale but I think it would still remain strong, the main thing here that people will really choose up into something better.I cant deny that ETH do really have the next potential but still need more time before it beats bitcoin.
