This to me is an encouraging sign, strangely enough. This is happening over at http://btb.binarycoins.eu/,according to the top right corner of the page.

If BitBar wasn't seen as a threat, people wouldn't waste their resources attacking it, they would let it die out if it's really such a pointless concept with rare bars.

nice sensationalist title, this is the reality:

Only BitBar Pool which registrations are closed because it can't handle more users  and has only 70 miners is under DDOS

Edit: Also it's very curious that it's under DDOS and the front end is still up, I've been mining there and it slows down or is completely down very often because it can't keep up with the very few miners in there.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

or somebody wants to solomine alone with his huge farm and dump them at the current rates before it jumps the shark. who knows?
