I have a MSI GTX 1070 Aero ITX, the short and stubby version of the full sized MSI Aero. It is so disappointing.

**It is only hashing at 2.4MH/s, out of box.**

I think has to be something wrong or there is a work around this card. Tried using Claymore 9.4 and 9.5; reinstalling CUDA and Visual Studios, none which seems to have done anything. It is currently on the Nvidia 385.53 driver.

If anyone knows of a solution, it would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same issue.  Been trying for a long time to get it to work.  I have Zotac 1070 minis.  Windows 10 and tried a variety of ethash miners and driver revisions.
What motherboard are you using?
Are you using windows 10?

I've got one pulling in 440-450 Sol/s mining zcash on linux. I'm not sure you should be using these cards for ETH.

These cards are good for eth and they easily get 29-30mhs at 100W. If you don't want to use linux run windows 7 or latest windows 10, I believe it's called creators update,  as on windows 10 there are issues unless you updated it.

I am reinstalling Win10; I had v1511.
I will try your suggestion and put in v1703 and see how it goes and post an update of my situation.

I resolved the 2.4 MH/s issue. I needed to upgrade the Win 10 from v1533 to v1703 Anniversary.
Now at stock is 25.7 MH/s. My new issue is a Code 43 that can't pick up the 8th card. Any ideas?
