This is not surprising really as we all know that any government in the world can be viewing Bitcoin beyond its own control so they would devise ways and means to somehow control Bitcoin or the transactions involving Bitcoin. And they could even do some compromise that in exchange for recognizing Bitcoin there has to be some regulatory framework for all to play with.

However, on the side of the government, there are also some legit concerns like how to make sure that Bitcoin can no be utilized for terrorism and other illegal activities and how Bitcoin buyers can be protected from unscrupulous operators as well as how the government can be able to apply the necessary taxes.

In the end, Bitcoin can still be able to survive unscathed and always roaring like a lion on the top of the hill.
