I wanted to buy some shares in an ASICMiner auction a friend referred me to, but I didn't realize the auction was taking place in the forum. It probably would be looked sketchy for a newbie to bid anyhow, but it looks like I'm stuck in newbie land until I get some street cred Smiley

I hold a small amount of BTC, and I have some BTC that I use to play on Seals With Clubs. Though online poker opened recently in Nevada, Seals With Clubs has been a nice way for me to keep my skills somewhat sharp while I wait for the US Government to get its head out of its @$$ ("Land of the Free" - whatevers)

As a way of introducing myself to the community, here's a recent mainstream article that I liked. In particular, I'm a fan of the acknowledgment that deflationary currency isn't necessarily inherently bad (even though the deflationary content isn't much more than qualitative posturing, I'll take what I can get)
