I think a lot of people have heard of bitcoin at least o'ce but only through the mainstream media. A lot of people still associate it with drugs and hackers a stigma that the media put on bitcoin and thus crypto currency as a whole. However that will change soon (changing already). But bitcoin isn't ready yet. The scaling issue is yet to be resolved (hopefully August 1st).

They will connect it to illegal things and lately the ransomeware attack most of the computers then you will be force to pay with bitcoin. Because of that it is still connected to bad things/illegal things. On the other side, other people know what is bitcoin and they can make used of it. A lot of countries adopting bitcoin and it will be means of payment soon so it would be a great news.

Well I think every country that has access to internet tv heard about bitcoins at least once.
But the thing is people are afraid of new things (as always). They prefer to do things the same way they have always done it.

It's almost only traders and tech-savies are the ones who are interested in it.
The easier it becomes to be used by an average user, the more it gets used.

That's besides the fact that a lot of authorities haven't commented about it which makes people more skeptic about it.

If we can get enough people to adopt bitcoin and therefore have a mass adoption, then this is truly special.

Essentially what is going to happen if we get, say 50% of the world's population to start using bitcoin, we are going to basically get the central banks, commercial banks, all of them out of business because they've just lost 50% of their customers! This in turn will make them have to reduce their competitiveness because they're not raking in as much anymore. This will fuel more people investing in bitcoin.

What i see happening is that bitcoin is going to see a lot of growth in userbase over the next few decades and that's what is going to ultimately fuel the increase in bitcoin price.

Not much. None of the crypto is applicable for daily use and to an average joe, it is still easier to use fiat than crypto. If anything, the only users that can be added are gamblers and speculators or traders.

Now a days it is a digital age where everyone is aware of new technologies and its benefits so it is no longer for that everywhere in the world people will start using cryptocurrencies for daily life usage. Because of its high demand and the much using a lot of people are aware of cryptocurrency and still not much enough for it. More people are aware of bitcoin today yet there are people of considerable volume who don't know about bitcoin.If every one knows about bitcoin,its demand would increase more increasing its price as bitcoin supply is limited.Bankers would lose their control over the society more.More unemployed people would get opportunity to earn through bitcoin.

Many people do know about bitcoin, but they are just ignoring it, they just want to earn fiat since this is the only thing they know. Most of the people thought bitcoin was just a scam that is why they are hesitating to do it. Cryptocurrencies could lead us to something that we are not expecting to, I mean the good way. This cryptocurrencies, I believe could make our world a better place, to change things to a better one.

Some of the countries already adopted bitcoin, already make as their cryptocurrency, for example is Japan, and I think this is one of the reason why bitcoin's price is not going down that far unlike to its past few years which its price was really low.

Lot of negativity​ is getting spread about bitcoin through different sources. This is simply because of the mistakes that caused with certain users. Mainly when a user ia new to bitcoin easily gets trapped by scammers and such incidents make them spread negativity regarding bitcoin, while few accept their mistake and try to correct it.

So I think here few numbers of the people in this world who want to go with the future where we can make a small small deals without any much taxation and charges and also our life will digital like the technology in our practical life .
But this is the reality few people in this world don't want cryptocurrency to remain exists because they are thinking that it is money rotation only .

My head says, as Bitcoin become more mainstream the price will skyrocket and the majority of the hoarders will sell to the rich. < Fiat millionaire investors and traders > The distribution of bitcoins will change hands and will be hoarded as a investment and not as a currency. Bitcoin will replace some of the traditional safe haven commodities, like Gold and Silver. You will also see various new versions of Bitcoin, but these will be centrally controlled private/permissioned Blockchains. < Your GovCoins / BankCoins > These coins will replace cash as a currency, because it can be tracked and monitored. ^grrrrrrr^

My heart says, Bitcoin will stay on top as the global currency and commodity. ^smile^

That's a really good question now, especially if you accept that this so-called mainstream adoption is starting to happen. I see Bitcoin being asked on Twitter and IG a lot now, even as ads are found on facebook. People who have never heard it will now quickly understand crypto.

We saw all the new entrants this year. Imagine next year!
