It can be benefical and it can be the inverse too. People could get into crypto-currencies because of this hype, but people could also be turned out of Bitcoin to go the Ethereum because some people are arguing for a fake crown passation or I do not know what...

Hello,

First topic for me Smiley

Just thinking ...

Can somehow this ETH hype be good for BTC too at the end?
Can this help speeding up the resolution of the scaling debate?

Or when the ICO madness will be over, will the BTC gain popularity
back  as the "more secure" and "proven" tech in the cryptospace?
Well i guess that Ethereum can not beat Bitcoin, not in near future that is. Ethereum is good  cryptocurrency, but i think that even with high fees at the moment, Bitcoin is still better. And most of people that mine altcoins, later on transfer them in bitcoin, which makes bitcoin main and stronger cryptocurrency. Problem with fees of bitcoin transfer will be dealt with, it is unavoidable. There are slim chances that Ethereum will beat Bitcoin.

Nothing will impact the bitcoin with altcoins. Etherum is increasing faster and fame among the people than bitcoin but bitcoin is the first crypto coin and potential is more than other altcoins. You can wait or see the comparison in future. bitcoin will not let it down. I hope satoshi to come and own the copyright to solve this issue.
