No one has it in stock, I ordered it from the site and have to wait a month and half for shipment. Good new is it's only a month away. Bad news I believe what I've seen others say they only ship on the 11th of the month so depending on when you buy it, it could take upwards of 2 months.

Watch the private sale sites like craigslist.  There is always a rush for mining equipment when the price hikes and that is always followed by a imflux of barely used equipment.

These are in stock on Amazon for me as well, as we speak. They seem a little pricey, as though it might be a different model than what is pictured.

Have you thought about using a Trezor or a KeepKey? I've never tried a Ledger or Trezor device, but the KeepKey I've played with works pretty cool.

I would buy from official source for security reasons.
They ordered 1 000 000 devices so it will take time to poduce and send to clients.
Faster you put order, faster u get it , good luck!

No this not true. In the bottom of the page in the section 'order summary' someone wants to complete his purchase have to agree checking the '...order will not be shipped before: August 30, 2017 '.

Still worth the wait. You would rather remove the coins from an exchange than keep them there under risk.

I wonder how difficult it would be to make one of these... Or hack / reverse engineer one. Without knowing the answer to that question, I wouldn't be too quick to buy any old random hardware wallet from an untrusted supplier.

Probably isn't too likely that something like this would occur but still best to buy it from the official source just in case I think.

Same to what was said by Bitfort, when I tried to put one in the cart, I was able to do so, including filling up all the details in the order form. This, I think, made it possible that they still have a stock although they will not ship it until the indicated time.

Anyway, if Ledger site can't deliver it, then try the other sites that I mentioned in my reply. Though I don't know if they will deliver before September.

Why some retailers have shipping day earlier for instance in august?
