Hey, guys! Sharing short intro to smart contracts and blockchain. I believe it could be very useful for beginner to understand the basic before any investments etc.

Would love to hear your thoughts and comments.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Thank you for this link. I believe most people (including myself) who use Bitcoin do not even understand the basic underlying technology of the blockchain. I have been using Bitcoin for multiple years, and am in my 20's with a decent idea of how to code websites, technology, etc. and this stuff is still confusing to me. I get how it works essentially though, which is all that matters. Let the devs do their thing, I am not a developer nor intend to be.

Nice write up! I will keep this bookmarked ,since I see a lot of people who are unsure what a blockchain ledger or a smartcontract actually is, so I can refer to your article and help them out. Good to see you are effectively contributing to the community and trying to help people out!

Lovely article, I also saw your article about 'ICOs dudes where is your code'; Funny to see that people start to realize that a project without code is worthless.
Thanks for spreading the info and keep writing! Smiley
