There is always a possibility but it will be a slim one. Bitcoin is still in speculative market so whenever bitcoin hype is gone and demand is pulled out, then probably it will hit 1 USD or less, but well in reality this will not happen overnight. It will take sometime after Bitcoin reaches its peak and the market is fully saturated and a new altcoin is created to take its place.

Despite the fact that Bitcoin can say the Leader in the speculation in the financial market, but it seems to me that this way and there will remain in the next decade. The fact is that to replace the dollar, you need to be a legal currency and have all the relevant guarantees. If the dollar is responsible for gold, Bitcoin will not be able to compete with gold.

Its been a long time bitcoin still alive and no one can attack the database or the whole blockchain. Bitcoin will be stay strong and its impossible that the price can hit $1 overnight. but there is still possibility it can be happen in the future.. if there is program or code will born or discover that can attack the bitcoin database maybe who hack the database will only get bitcoin and hold or sell them but i think he can not sell them all unless if his plan is to destroy only the whole blockchain..

For me that is impossible to happen eventhough there would be a bad news occur like hacking, banned btc, big dump. Still not enough to transform the price in 1-digit. Maybe the price will have a big fall but it won't touch $1. Many people have invested their money, time, effort inyo btc. They won't easily allow to happen that their hardwork will just go to a mess.

This can only happen when some big bitcoin holders would dump thier money and still bitcoin would still rise from 1 usd. It's nearly imposible as of now to hit one usd per bitcoin. Bitcoin is ganing it's name from big companeys.

Could some major shift or change happen that would bitcoin nearly worthless especially overnight?
There is always a possibility for anything to happen and even as unlikely as it sounds for bitcoin to hit 1 dollar/coin, it is possible. The realest way that it's probably going to happen if it will ever happen is through a hard fork. If bitcoin forks into two, and Bitcoin Core which is the version of bitcoin most of us call "bitcoin" gets very low support from the community then it is perfectly possible for bitcoin core to fall to 1 USD. Though there is at least 20-30% of miners signalling support for segwit so, very unlikely. This can only happen when some big bitcoin holders would dump thier money and still bitcoin would still rise from 1 usd. It's nearly imposible as of now to hit one usd per bitcoin. Bitcoin is ganing it's name from big companeys.
If it ever happens like that, it gives us a chance to buy in cheap coins. It's not going to happen unless some sort of major failure happens in the bitcoin code/infrustructure.

I think no, and nearly impossible to reach 1 USD per each Bitcoin because large market cap which surely make Bitcoin will be up everyday rather than down to below $1000. If it ever happens like that, it gives us a chance to buy in cheap coins. It's not going to happen unless some sort of major failure happens in the bitcoin code/infrustructure.
Fair enough. When Bitfinex accident it was dumped for more than 20 - 30% that also happened when SEC rejects Bitcoin ETF.

The end of the world as we know it, the collapse of the internet until it is back online, the cryptography was fully broken but was executed terribly instead of sneakily not that many reasons would collapse it to 0. I guess a terrible fork no one uses.

i think it is impossible that bitcoin hit 1 usd and become worthless because the market cap of bitcoin is very high which is impossible to make it zero or nothing and also the price of bitcoin is very high which have made the bitcoin very stronger as many people have invested their money in bitcoin so it is not possible that bitcoin reach 1 usd even due to bigger and bigger dump it cannot be 1 usd overnight.

It could, but not in the short term. If Bitcoin gets overtaken by newer tech, which is already happening, and this process accelerates to the point that people hop over to better alternatives, Bitcoin's market capitalization will wither away. However, it might take up to 4 to 10 years (rough guess) for Bitcoin to retrace all the way back to 1 in that scenario.
Bitcoin could hit 1 USD yes. Likely? I don't know. I consider the scenario of it happening in the long run just as plausible as 10.000 USD Bitcoins.

1$ why what even makes people like you to say such bad speculation and things about bitcoin. Bitcoin has come from such a long way it was 1/10 of a cent and today it's 2500+ and you still think the price will go to 1$. If you don't know the price reduces or increases when people buy or sell. So current cap is $46 billion so in ordee to become 1$ every single investor has to sell and as of now i don't see any scenario why everyone even want to sell their coins.

That's because you are ideologically inclined to Bitcoin, thinking it 'must' succeed no matter what happens. The truth of the matter is, if Bitcoin gets pushed aside in the next few years people will abandon ship. Yes, it won't be a quick process but in the longer run 1 dollar is absolutely a possibility again. What we could say though is that 1 dollar Bitcoins would mean - without much doubt - that Bitcoin has failed. Something which is getting all the more reasonable of a scenario, given the competition that is out there nowadays. There's no reason to think Bitcoin can sustain its value if people cease using it. Bitcoin got no inherent value at that point.

Are you an Ethereum enthusiasts? No way that bitcoin could hit back at $1. It's one of the most preferred crypto currency and it will remain good for the next years to come. And to make the price back at $1 all of us needed to sell and do you think everyone is willing to sell their bitcoins? So no way for me.

I don't think this could happen unless something technical about bitcoin itself broke, and that seems highly unlikely since it hasn't happened yet.

BTC hitting 1 USD price is possible but the chance of this happening is slim. Right now, it got many users buying and selling it so I think it would only be possible if there are some major changes that people don't like, for example a fork that many don't like, it is very possible that this could happen. It would be possible soon if the solution to the scaling debate is not what people really wanted, and just made thing worst but I hope that btc won't touch 1 USD price soon.

And for us users to be alarmed or other people to avoid investing there money on it. It will never happen or if it's really could happen? Maybe it's the system that couln't functioning well

yes you are right it will not happen either or in future because the price of bitcoin is already above 2000 dollars and i think saying this kind of bad speculation will harm the bitcoin because the investors will not want to lose their money by investing in bitcoin they will think that if bitcoin reach to 1 dollar then their money will be gone, so i think we do not need to destroy the image of bitcoin.

I think that such conversations even adversely affect the psyche of such people. I would be generally indignant about such a conversation. Today when we see that Bitcoin has reached 2 and 2500 dololors and the soul is starting to rejoice again.
