If an apocalyps would happen bitcoin would have no value and neither would regualr currency. Goods, food, water, weapons and other supplies would be the most valuable  sincee that would keep us alive. Bitcoin doesn't have another use other than storing value and that goes for all the other currencies around the globe.

Even if the price of bitcoin is sturdy going up and there are so many demand with it, the possibility of bitcoin going to 1$ is still possible, we are having a great price right now but still bitcoin price would need to fluctuate anytime and we don't have the power to control or to know what kind of movement it will make, and right now we are on a risk in the impeding split let's just hope the price would go to a 1$ value in August 1.

Such a situation never arise with bitcoin, where a single person not using bitcoin. At the beginning we were not into bitcoin, very small number of early adopters were using it, but this has got certain value and now this has grown as high as $3000. So once again the cyclic process making the price reach $1 is not gonna happen.

I guess that is a good news to those people who have already stocked BTC for a bit. But what about who are new to the industry? What about those investors(that will significantly help BTC to grow more) who wanted to invest more to BTC then they suddenly found out that BTC is now priced as $1? Then it will gradually drop continuously, and what more is soon BTC will be no more.

Yes, there were some topics which were discussing about bitcoin prices falling back to below $100, but suddenly I'm seeing this topic is talking about hitting one dollar on extreme cases. Practically I do not find the any chances for that to happen as there will be more people to be interested in buying when they will be seeing cheaper bitcoins.

I think its nearly impossible because a few years back when people were mostly unaware of bitcoin and the countries banned it bitcoin don’t fall to 1 .and now people are mostly aware of it and countries are legalizing it so I think the day will never come in life when bitcoin hit 1.

Yes, if this would have to happen in the future, eventually BTC will start from scratch and it will have a huge effect on the people and they might not use BTC anymore.

And no, other coins will not overcome BTC since these altcoins are based on BTC in the first place.

That's hard to happen once again. The bitcoin doesn't have along time history like gold and other valuable asset. It grew high in a very short period and importantly it grew from the scratch of being a free giveaway and now reached a peak value that none other currency hasn't achieved. Going back to $1 is not gonna happen, if it has got possibility during the past crashes this could have taken place.

Bitcoin is still a high risk investment and there is the possibility of failure. At this point though we are several years into its existence and it seems to be progressing so it would be unlikely to fail now, but no guarantees.

Actually I think I made a typo with that I mean let's just hope the price would "not" go to a $ 1 value in the impending August 1, because if the split would occur then bitcoin would have a two side then what side would yo pick! I think every bitcoin wallet right now are getting ready with this and they are preparing to really secure our bitcoin, well At least I have joined up a wallet that are doing something.

If suddenly miners would mine 12500 BTC in every block price would decrease 1000 times and would be only few USD.  That bitcoin algorithm will be flawed is a sure thing. But assumptions are that it will be changed with stronger one before it will get flawed. But if value of BTC keeps increasing then no algorithm would secure that much value there is higher reward for anyone to break it unnoticed.  so you cant really copy/paste past here.

Even I will do the same if bitcoin falls that low in future but that is unlikely to happen as bitcoin is growing now and in future it will be even more powerful currency in terms of its value and if bitcoin starts falling then there will be many people who will prefer to quit bitcoins and switch to some other investment.

Falling to $1 overnight is impossible, but we can extend this to about half of the current price. Nothing can make it fall below $1500 in a day, because there's not enough money on exchanges. Think about it like this. For the price to fall to $1 almost every owner in the world would have to sell. If only 50% sell you won't even fall below $1000 and for that to happen you need weeks.
