What is Best investment in 2017 in Bitcoin or in Litecoin ?

in 2013 Bitcoin was at 1100+ USD and that Time Litecoin was at 80+ USD but than due to crypto market falls Bitcoin falls 1100+ USD to 150+ USD and Litecoin fall 80+ USD to 1+ USD means both are falls around 80% now bitcoin increased upto 500% already in compare of 2014 Price But litecoin increase 400% only so if we considered litecoin increase more 100% in 2017 than litecoin price around 60 USD and if we invest in bitcoin than it is tough to increase bitcoin price 6000 USD in 2017 so according to my suggestion litecoin is best for investment.

Please tell me your opinion what major community says.

Bitcoin is very much in front of LTC in anyway, for years, LTC has been the second currency thinking about competing and taking the place of BTC but it didn't successfully do it. Even now the competitors of BTC are mainly ETH and Monero.

Litecoin only rose up this year, and now it is fluctuating a lot, whereas Bitcoin have been gaining momentum recently and steadily rising, but I would not be able to guarantee what would happen next. I would rather hold more Bitcoin now as I trust it more, at the same time holding some LTC.

If you are talking about percentage increase, then you may be right that LTC has more 'potential', but I still believe BTC has plenty of room for development and would rise faster than LTC.

Litecoin doesn't have anything new other than recent activation of segwit in litecoin, however that might not pump LTC anymore. LTC price was already pumped quite hard recently and right now it is correcting. Best investment for now could be ETC which is quite similar to ETH.

ETH really replaced LTC on it's leading position among altcoins. I have noticed that the price of LTC is nonstop following the bitcoin price when it's growing. So, by my opinion investing in LTC will suit more to people who don't have a lot of finances to invest in BTC.

Yup probably best thing to do, have some Litecoins and some BTC. Actually any coin which is legit, has good development team is worth buying and holding. You never know what will happen. Just spread you asset in cryptocurrenicies through many currencies, wallets.

I think invest in Bitcoin is much more better than litecoin  because there's a lot of international online website accepting Bitcoin for online shopping and other online transaction and Bitcoin uses is much more High then litecoin there is a lot of users adopting Bitcoin every day increasing its price too much faster everyday then litecoin and other people invest their money for their future because a lot of people considered that Bitcoin its price in the future and gave it is declared a big profit in future form Bitcoin so Bitcoin is much more better than litecoin.

Bitcoin is number one currency so it is important that we invest in Bitcoin as it has a large amount of investors and a number up companies have their businesses in Bitcoin currency why litecoin is not that much famous so I don't think that much people will invest in litcoin and the price of litecoin will not increase in the same speed as Bitcoin price is increasing. This could be a really good idea but currently buying ltc for a double profit seems hard as other coins like waves , stratis are significantly increasing

Seriously that is the excuse you are going to give to not buy ltc because you can't easily convert it to fiat. Currently ltc is listed on most of the exchanges and there is always something like shapeshift so conversion to bitcoin is surely not a issue and some exchanges surely provide ltc/usd trading options

I'll say that the main fundamentals for litcoins are still intact, and maybe a bit more improved, since the days of its $1-$2 price range. Now with the integration of segwit and talks of integrating the lightening network on LTC, it could be very valuable long term. It may not look so now because of bit coins and eth. Nothing wrong with adding a bit to your portfolio.

Yes you are right that we can invest money in both Bitcoin in LTC but comparing Bitcoin and LTC, the Bitcoin is such a currency that is more advanced and well established and also investing your money in Bitcoin will proof very profitable and you can get a good profit when the price of Bitcoin become high while in LTC the price will not go high very much and the profit from LTC will not very much big.

I also think both Bitcoin and litecoins is a good investment.  Since LTC had a major upgrade and then all other add ons will be implemented on that coins, I think it will increase in value over time.  Bitcoin is always a good choice, the high volatility, strong community and demand.  So I guess have both of them in your portfolio.

Diversifying investment is they key. Since you made a technical analysis of both cryptos, you created a finished work on it and managed to get a wild idea on the main subject. Both cryptos have wonderful increase throughout their operational time.

What Im trying to say here? Invest in both bitcoin and litecoin and see what's really the possible thing to happened on your investment in the future with the use of your own analysis. We will never know if you will not try.

you have just listed random numbers without meaning some of which are also wrong.
i believe litecoin will go up but not just because of a series of numbers you listed but because it will be pumped soon enough. and mostly because  it is the clone of bitcoin and since bitcoin does not have any scaling solution implemented yet that gives litecoin, which has already implemented it, an edge.

in the end LTC is not yet adopted like all the rest of the altcoins but it is gaining some momentum again because of bitcoin's situation. and the longer it takes for bitcoin to come up with consensus the more these altcoins will get pumped.

I think litecoin can have a price for now, but seeing the ethereum that has a high price can affect litecoin itself.

I think litecoin can have a price for now, but seeing the ethereum that has a high price can affect litecoin itself.

More or less both seems to be working in the same platform, so no need of making the growth camparison in between ethereum and litecoin. Ethereum seems to be better because of the sustained growth which is not there with the litecoin.

Litecoin has significant increases after segwit implemented from $3-$4 to $30 but it seems stuck right there, can't break the $30 barrier. If you invest 1 btc on litecoin when it was $4, than you could get many profits and better to invest on cheaper coin if you don't have bigger budget to invest. Bitcoin has higher price and pretty hard to buy 1BTC and expected so much in the near future. But, for now I prefer bitcoin as it will gain more value in the future than litecoin obviously.
