How to setup Tight VNC Server

Hey Fellas,

I installed and set passwords for TightVNC and I got my local IP address on the server. So I can access it from you local network but definitely not from remote network. How can I set TightVNC server to access it from remote network?

Have you read that text? This is just for local access, not for access from external network.

All you need to do is forward the VNC ports (5800 and 5900 IIRC) on your router to the internal address where the VNC server is located.

Personally I wouldn't recommend doing this unless you have enabled encryption with a secure certificate.  
By forwarding the ports you are opening an attack vector to your miners with a very common protocol (VNC).

Also, port forwarding is only getting you to one miner.  If you have multiple you would have to then jump from that box to another.

You can use TeamViewer for free with the personal use license.  I access my miner consoles from my phone to adjust things, it works great.

Yeah I was worried that something like this can be a possibility Did a little research and decided to go with Teamviewer. Thanks for answer man!
