For me a very great opportunity was ZrCoin ICO, I invest a nice sum in it and I think it will perform incredibly well. I have heard recently of SONM, BAT (is it the correct name from Firefox guy ?), NVO, STRATA and IMPRS. They should all do well, but at different scales.

I agree, before investing we have to get to know the altcoins we are rooting for. If these coins have progress in the past few months or so because in trading you have to take a lot of risks and a lot patience for it isn't all the time just pumping sometimes it depends on the news and progress the developers made.

From this once i would pick WAVES, more stable and has more potential, than others. The risk of losing a high % is not that big, if the price will start falling.

Based on the coins you picked, i would advise you to choose Lisk. Invest your 0.1 BTC in it. I am expecting it to rise as far as Stratis, after all, it serves a simillar purpose. The same thing is probably going to happen with Waves, as there are plenty coins "riding on waves" right now.
My pick off your list: Iconomi. Not sure about 1 month, but platform is going public soon.

I agree Ethereum looks to be the coin on centre stage and all new projects are basing their coins on ethereum smart contracts which is also giving it price boosts as demand continues to increase.

It always depends onthe kind of investor you are.

I divide my portfolio in:

30% BC long term
40% ETH long term

another 20 % is divided between Lisk, NAV, Monero, SiaCoin and Ardor.

Remaining 10 % is invested in high risk coins that I think will make some nice profits (thinking 50x): CreditBits, NEM, Ark.

how did you manage to invest in ZRCoin, i just tried to find it in coinmarketcap and coincap and it is not listed anywhere when i search for it. Do you need to go to there website and invest or is there another way?

It makes more sense to invest in ICO . Bancor was very reasonable . After 3 days status or tomorrow may be SONM. So the process is not done , I think it makes more sense to do the transaction.
