The Machine will not boot without shorting pin 1 and 8 on the GPU. After short I can get in but when I try to use ATIFLASH to flash the original back I get an error.

failed to read rom 0fl01

Has anyone recovered from this? i have tried everything I can find on the internet but nothing will allow me to flash this card.
