I think the best opportunity to dump ETH is right before a major ICO

wise traders got out of ethereum on top because a wise trader don't waits around for the volume to drop or worse, for the price to drop.
* you invest before the pump,
* then wait for it to reach the top or pretty close to it
* make your exit fast and clean
* enter the next altcoin fast without letting your money stay idle
* rinse and repeat...

but most people around here are usually optimistic and stick around and experience a slow fall.

p.s. i think it is best to keep fiat for now instead of bitcoin when you dump ethereum. BTC seems to be going down at the moment. then get in at the bottom of BTC to gain a little bit more BTC with the same amount of fiat.
