Question i wanna know if the 1070 can be clocked to 32 mh/s for mining. the one from the Nvidia website (founder edition) And i don't want an 480/470

I wanna make a 8GPU rig, how you guys work with cooling. because in the summer its so hot here.
Can i configure the GPUs to shutdown after they get to hot?

yeah it can do 32MH but you need very high memory like 600+, and for the summer you can use 3 x front fan of 14cm and you don't need to shutdown, it'sd all automatic, when the psu reach the limit it will restart to prevent demage

One more thing what can i do about the noise it makes, because it will stand in the living room.

add more fan and reduce all fan to 40%, and don't use gigabyte or other brand that have high noise level, the more quite gpu are the palit, with dual fan, buy those gpu
