Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

I'm sorry but how is this a scam accusation? The writer of that article could've done more to secure his login details. Storing a large amount of coins on an exchange is always a risk, everybody knows that. This doesn't seem like Coinbase's fault imo.

This popped up in my feed again today. Good read, worth a look for anyone that missed it a couple years ago. With crypto on the upswing there will be more attacks, get yourself secure.
