How much are you willing to spend?

I'm curious to how much everyone here is spending on bitcoin/altcoins. Or if you haven't spent that much yet, how much are you willing to spend?

I've seen people that spent 1,5k and say that they are going to earn the big bucks really soon. But is that even possible with only 1,5k spent, on, let's say ETH, LTC, or any other "bigger" coin?
There was a thread here a few days ago from someone that spent 50k and used that money on the bigger coins.

Ofcourse, one could spend 50k on a single coin (or two) and see it crash the next day. Byebye money.

For me, I told myself on day 1 of starting with cryptocurrencies to not go over 1k. A week later it was already 2k. I will probably not go over 5k.
I have a little invested in ETH, LTC and some of the smaller coins.

So what about you guys?

I have roughly $20k tied up in crypto "assets" the majority of which is built up of bitcoin and ethereum roughly 10% of this is in what i consider to be "high risk" alt coins and I would say around 20% is in Factom, zCash, Litecoin, Maidsafe, Ripple and Monero.

actually i don't know how much i want to spend because i think there is no exact amount to explain and its following with what happen in the market. if the market is giving a good movement then we can ready to sell it but if the market is stuck, then i think we need to keep for a while until the price is up again.

Invest and profit in cryptocurrency is not done like that. 1,5k is small amount in crypto world, do you here in some ico billions dollars are used for new coin investment. Remember one thing when you trade cryptocurrencies​, you will always profit if you have a patience, and you will never lose if you're not sell it. Use your own due diligence to analyze what coin will grow or make success with their ico.
For me, I only take free money (the money that I don't what to do with it with relative amount) to invest in altcoin.

loaded up with 0.6 of bitcoin in jan this yr, through trading now have 2.8 btc almost all invested in altcoins (mostly top end alts with a few speculative coins)

biggest lesson, DONT sell for that 10% quick profit, have patience and wait till coin/investment shoots up (which it almost certainly will at some point) then take some profit but keep hold of some of them coins your selling as sure as fook they will skyrocket as soon as you unload them to market!!

spend what u can afford is the bottom line, my initial investment came from my now redundant betfair account made up from free sports bets which was made up from my play money, happy days here!!

Since i am not a big time risk taker i would like to have some clarity before investing in a particular coin,i do have my limits since i am not a millionaire,a couple of thousand dollars will be my limit if i am investing at any particular new project.
