I believe the bubble in ICO will pop at some point and seriously hurt ETH price. Considering taking a short position on ETH. I'm still a newbie with regards to cryptocurrency and could easily be wrong. what do you guys think?

Don't short a raging bull market.  You are asking to get burned.  If you don't guess the 'top' accurately, you could be getting margin calls on ETH's next big leg up.
