I made a nice profit by buying 174 at .0023 on BTER, sold on BTC-E at .004.

Was mining litecoin, but have been mining CNC for the last couple of days, fingers crossed it rebounds back up. Still worth more than FTC on btc-e.

Crashing pretty hard there... I don't see the advantage to BTC / LTC or any other established coin, so i think the crash will continue till it disappears.
Any other opinion?

There's no real advantage to CNC, but mining it is still more profitable than the other coins

And another blockchain waiting to go down, similiar to FTC (though mining it was lucrative for a day or two).
I bet a lot of people are going to sink their BTC into CNC like they did with FTC.

It seems to me that so far these alternative coins do not bring any serious innovation. China coin? Litecoin? Feathercoin?

Until a real alternative to bitcoin comes out these just seem like they will struggle out of a lack of need. Then again, when a real bitcoin alternative comes it will have to prove itself as secure, and that will take time.
