A few weeks ago a new mixer emerged Chipmixer, with new features, so my question for those that have used other mixers, like bitmixer, how does it compare? Is it faster? Is it cheaper? Does perform as advertised?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

There was an alpha test from ChipMixer some time ago before their public release.

Most of the users have sent the review by PM to the admin of the website, but you can check it out the thread for some quick reviews: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1923170.0

Just a quick vouch for this thread:
- i sent the OP a PM applying for the beta tester position
- the next day, the OP replied to my PM, giving me the beta tester position
- i have tested out the OP's service
- i got the promised bounty plus a rather big tip  Smiley

As for the OP's service:
- i can vouch that he has a hidden service that is setup as a mixer
- i have tested his mixer, and everything seems to be set up properly. I have provided the OP with some feedback, and i can only assume the other testers did the same. There might be room for some little improvements to his service, but even at this moment, i think his service would be completely functional if he decided to open his doors for business right away
- i can vouch that i have never seen his mixing idear, and i must say that i think it's an innovative idear.

Due to the fact that he's running a mixer, thus provides privacy, i won't post the withdrawal txid's in public, but in case a member with sufficient trust is interested, i can provide the txid's over PM

We cannot really now about the privacy. All the mixing service claim they don't keep logs but this is only a claim and we don't have actual facts that they indeed do not keep logs. The best mixers are the ones from the hidden internet but be careful only a few are legit there and all others are copy cats made to scam people. As for the normal mixer like the ones we have in the forum we can never know if they do keep logs or not.

All good mixers have a Tor mirror, and many mixers are only on Tor without a clearnet site.

Bitmixer Tor mirror:  http://bitmixer2whesjgj.onion/
Chipmixer Tor mirror: http://chipmixerwzxtzbw.onion/

And so on, and so forth...

True.  However, it's still dramatically safer to use a mixer.

Chipmixer is legit, for now.  Mixers can go wrong at any time, but we've got only positive information about them so far.

Chipmixer is quite unique but many may not find it quite interesting. One of the problem is that they give you private keys of bitcoin addresses which contain fraction of your deposit but few of those balance might be in unconfirmed status so that you have to wait for long hours to be able to use those funds. They offer their service for free but you may end up paying higher fees when sending coins out of different addresses where your bitcoin will be splitted. Also don't know how they generate those bitcoin address and private key pairs but if those pairs are pre-generated and stored in their database, at some point that might get hacked and if you haven't moved coins already from those address, you may loss your mixed coins.

What we can say is that bitmixer is old and they gained serious trust from people and chipmixer is new but it doesn't means we can't trust them. Also they are more cheap because as I know they don't request for fee but they have donation adress. I think it will be changed soon (if still not changed) because without profit they can't exist.
Final answer is: yes, they are fast and cheap.

I didn't use one and another. I was trying to join Chipmixer and Bitmixer campaign, but they denied me, so I even didn't try to visit their sites to take a look on services that they suggest.

One of the problem is that they give you private keys of bitcoin addresses which contain fraction of your deposit but few of those balance might be in unconfirmed status so that you have to wait for long hours to be able to use those funds.
They already said multiple times that their "chips" are always previously loaded. Why would they give you a private-key with unconfirmed coins?

They offer their service for free but you may end up paying higher fees when sending coins out of different addresses where your bitcoin will be splitted.
You don't have to split BTC1 in 20 multiple chips. You can choose to receive 1 or 2 chips which was probably loaded in one transaction, which means you will have to pay less than $1 in fees for each transaction. Not that much if you really took the time to mix your coins and could have end up paying 1% or 2% fees with another mix.

Also don't know how they generate those bitcoin address and private key pairs but if those pairs are pre-generated and stored in their database, at some point that might get hacked and if you haven't moved coins already from those address, you may loss your mixed coins.
So? What is your point? Every mixer or almost every Bitcoin service has to deal with the risks of being hacked. The same way you can send and receive 10 bitcoins with BitMixer, they can be hacked and lose all those coins because of a hacker.

Just a quick vouch for this thread:

Due to the fact that he's running a mixer, thus provides privacy, i won't post the withdrawal txid's in public, but in case a member with sufficient trust is interested, i can provide the txid's over PM
Thanks for the reply, I read the replies on the alpha test and it seems everything went fine, now I’m reading their ANN thread.

I was also one of their beta tester and found mixing there really easy and quite unique. Merging and splitting is really interesting thing and you can actually get code which you can redeem anytime in future so that you can continue mixing till you get all your bitcoin at one bitcoin or multiple bitcoin addresses. I find that voucher code feature they have really interesting, also they don't take any fees.

I confirm that we've had this problem very early when we started. Chip-funding transaction was stuck for a few hours thanks to ever rising fees.  We've had to resend this transaction with much higher fee (quick fix) and change our software to avoid low fee (solution). If you have a problem with withdrawal, contact our support. In this case nobody contacted us, we have detected the problem and fixed it ourselves.

A few weeks ago a new mixer emerged Chipmixer, with new features, so my question for those that have used other mixers, like bitmixer, how does it compare? Is it faster? Is it cheaper? Does perform as advertised?

Share your experiences.
Comparing both has differences chipmixer is unique and new while bitmixer was the same as other mixer like cryptomixer as sample..
But chipmixer is one of the unique mixer that no other features to other mixer has. Base on my own test they are also gives you satisfactory if you know how to use the mixer. they have merging and splitting and you can donate how much you  want but not below 0.002.
Comparing the speed i think they are just both the same.. i just notice that chipmixer its more cheaper or they are just accepting donation than the other mixer..

I think it's a legit mixer because they are running a signature campaign. But not quite sure about their service as many mixing services are turned into scam. If you're not sure about this service. Just use only small amount. I only know bitmixer.io. They are operating for a long time. You should try it.
