As i've heard before, when bitcoin rises too much, there is a tendency that it would fall down, but im pretty sure that after one week it would rise again and now is the time to buy bitcoin.

Yes. Similar to last May's crashing. But that crashed was short live only and a lot of investors started to buy bitcoins again and its pushed the price to almost $3000. But now, the price is dipping again. I don't know if people are cashing in because it has briefly touched $3000 or they are moving out of bitcoins and shifting to ETH.

I think this kind of movement is normal to bitcoin though there is a possibility that the current dip is people moving out of Bitcoin temporarily to move in the Ethereum hype but I do believe that they will get back after the ETH hype is over.   There is also some possibility that a huge holder is wanting to add more coins to stash in a cheaper way, shaking weak hands.

Bitcoin's price is so low now and buying now is a good timing. Buying on the dips surely will give bigger benefits on the future. Though we do not know how low Bitcoin will be but buying in now is not a bad decision at all. If you look at the historical price of bitcoin and extrapolate on a log scale (removing the outliers) the floor should be around $1800-$1900.

SegWit BIP148 might force the chart to have to realign a bit, but unless something catastrophic happens to the protocol, it will climb again.

This dump is not strange, the strange thing was when the price reached $3000 with the threat of a hard fork around the corner. I would not buy a Bitcoin now until the situation becomes clearer

Nooooo Just because we are going down doesn't mean that we are going to stop going down. Buying in when you think you see the floor, sometimes is a little premature (ESP with BTC, it's just too damned volatile all the time). i think in present time when the price of bitcoin is trading below 2200$ it is the best time to invest, because that is just a temporary dump and very soon the price of bitcoin is going to start increasing again and i do not think that the price of bitcoin will stay here for more than a week, therefore i think it is a golden opportunity to buy bitcoin right now and do not waste a single minute. because i do not think that we will find such opportunity again.

Actually i have placed my buy order at 2000 dollars, i've been waiting for this moment to buy more bitcoins and i don't wanna lose this chance, i regret deeply when the price was really cheap and i didn't buy much at that time. Anyway seems like the price is going up rapidly, it's about 2300+ dollars at this point i think it will be back to 2800 $ again. People will make profit untill 50% if they buy at 2k dollars well hoping the price will touch 3k dollars at the end of this month.

I think the two main reason for this crash are :

• The introduction of new bill titled “Combating Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, and Counterfeiting Act of 2017" by the congress.

• Exchanges such as BTC-E and bitfinex getting heavily ddosed this week.

So I dont think the price drop is a correction at all. Anyways, it looks like the perfect time to buy more of bitcoin as well as ethereum because it looks like even it has been affected indirectly by the price drop of bitcoin.
