MT. GOX account pending review?

So I put monkey into my mt. gox account, was able to trade, but then when trying to withdraw my coins, it said account is pending review, I was trying to get verified for the better part of a year and now with no warning I can not with draw becasue they are reviewing. Does anybody know what is going on?

Best thing to do is to send them a support email, it is possible your ID failed their test so you need to resend it.

But, I dont understand, I was able to trade and withdraw just fine without being verified. So why not stop just my ability to withdraw but not my ability to trade?

Just discovered the same thing happened to me.  I cant even withdraw 1 BTC.  The website clearly says verification is not needed for such as small amount.  This is the first time I ever tried to withdraw and I have done nothing but trade a few BTC occasionally.  No bots, no Tor, no big $ in the account...

I understand that they may have pressure to verify accounts, but they could at least post the new policy on the website. How hard can that be?   Mt Gox just keeps proving again and again that they are not very competent at running their business. 

So I submitted all the paperwork, and the website says I will get approval (or not) in 10 days.  I guess there is no reason to believe they will honor that promise either.  We will see.

Follow up on my above post:

I uploaded my scanned drivers license and utility bill to Mt Gox for verification shortly after my post this morning, and about 6 hours later I was approved.  Still no idea why I was blocked, but at least they processed my docs quickly.  I was able to send 1 BTC out of my account this afternoon.

I think many of us understand growing pains, issues with new technology, DDOS attacks, and the regulatory nightmare, but if bitcoin service companies would simply communicate with customers, people would be much less frustrated.
