Bitcoin market dominance have decreased significantly over the last few months this is due to new money flowing towards other alts like to ETH. However I don't think Bitcoin will ever loss its charm because it is still the most secure and strong crypto out there. Support for BTC is really massive so that price can't get bigger dump. Competitors might share total crypto marketcap

We don't know how much money has actually flown into other alts and especially into Ethereum. If Ethereum founders are really holding 60% of premined ETH tokens (I don't know if it's true or not), that means its "market cap" is even more deceiving that it is on average between altcoins. If you premine most of coins while only some get actually traded with the rest being locked (which seems to be the case with Ethereum), you may claim insane market cap but it won't have any meaning and bearing on reality (apart from luring in inexperienced folks)

That is just insane to say that. Bitcoin has already shown its potential portfolio to the world. Everybody knows at what extend bitcoin can be profitable. No offense, but can never let down anyone in the long term run. Its decentralized and public property. Everyone can play with it without any restriction and make profits. It will be implemented in real life in near future for sure.

I agree that too some extent the use of bitcoin is main in gambling and other scam activity but now their are other altcoin which are developed for some fundamentals and their aim are to improve their project with the help of blockchain. After reading the article, I wouldn't blame the author because he knows the reason why he reached that conclusion. Even though I don't agree with all his opinion but some of it is quite worth pondering over which is the excess valuation beyond the real value and this is something every one needs to be cautioned about in taking decisions as to whether to invest in bitcoin or not.

I dont think bitcoin is a wastage. Bitcoin has always been profitable for many of the people here. Bitcoin has always been profitable for me too. The idea about bitcoin been wastage depends totally on the way you use it. Bitcoin can ve used in gambling, mining, trading, investing etc. If you tried some useless ways, bitcoin will be wastage for you. Investinging and using bitcoin in proper ways and investing in proper sites will give you enough profit. Bitcoin is used in some illelegal activities like on deep web so it can be said to be useless there. if you use bitcoin for some good ways, you will always have profit.

Everyone has the right for its own opinion but.you have to consider the facts. No other cryptocurrency managed to be accepted like Bitcoin and no other cryptocurrency hasn't the real value in real world like Bitcoin. I totally don't agree with the article, bitcoin has helped so many people from economic devastations and it has helped so many people to send and received money globally and it is good to have competition from all sides, it will be a healthy competition between crypto currencies so bitcoin really do the best to survive and bitcoin still stay on top, it proves that bitcoin still the best

I also do not agree with such a supposition which are listed in that article. in the online world as it's been very much a bitcoin helps people out there. But why are they still think like that? Hardly anything relevant in the article except that they just speak about Bitcoins lol, speculative hmm it works more on a demand and supply and it's get effected by news so partially speculative. This isn't a bad article, per say, they do have some things lacking but for the most part I think that this is actually pretty cool article which does touch on a lot of the issues that I've been seeing with Bitcoin over the past while. I think he does miss a lot of other uses for Bitcoin, since he claims that Bitcoin is used primarily for gambling and money laundering, and I know from experience that I do other things with Bitcoin, but he does make some valid points.

I agree with you. The article has pointed out some of the questions that people find mysterious but the article is limiting itself to have a strong ground to its standing like it wants to avoid its standing against Bitcoin by not mentioning some important details unlike the way that it declares that it is only used in gambling and money laundering which is not. Bitcoin is a great platform especially in investment and earning abundant profit by buy and sell or in other word trading and other more. Surely it has its setbacks but still to say it's garbage is a word that is not appropriate to use since it has brought and help a lot of people and I am not just speculating this since I've witnessed it first hand with my eyes since that person is a friend of mine.

Yeah you're right. It really has credentials already for how many years. It's just a matter of perseverance if you are willing on something let yourself grow individually but saying that bitcoin is a complete garbage well, you haven't proven it yet. Experience it first before you judge. I have exprienced the life of a bitcoiner even if I only live in simple way of living but because of my brother's support I stand what it takes because it helps us to have an extra income so don't ever say that it's a complete garbage. You don't know everyone's story.
