I have a "real-world" friend who was using a gMail address for their MtGox account.
When they logged into gMail today they got this:

We've detected suspicious activity on your Google Account. Please create a new password to continue using your account.

So the Hacker World is possibly trying to take over your email at the right time to respond to this from MtGox:
...your password has been disabled as a security measure (and you will need to reset it to login again on Mt.Gox).

Secure your email account now! == I used to use somewhat simple password for email, but not any more, make sure you have control of yours.
