Hi all,

I have an Asrock Pro H81 ProBTC and my OS is Windows 10
Windows does not recognise any GPU in its 3rd slot from the left, as shown below:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6HNx74FwQi2WGRQQVRJcFdBVEk/view?usp=sharing

With the monitor connected to the GPU, Windows 10 starts but the GPU will not be recognised in Device manager. Have tried 6 GPUs. All work on other slots.
I have tried this in another 2 motherboards (H61 ProBTC) and the result is the same, except it's the 4th slots that don't work.
I have updated to the latest Bios. I have also reset CMOS. I have gone into 'troubleshooting' to detect hardware problems.

I use this version of drivers for all my Asus 4GB RX470 OC Gaming cards:
22.19.165.512

These are all the solutions I have found in other forums and now I am out of ideas.
Would be so grateful for your help.

Cheers,

Have use used a different riser board assembly? If one of your powered risers is bad that could be the issue.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

The other 5 GPUs that I've tested all were tested with their own riser connectors/cables.
I am currently using those 5 GPUs with their connectors/cables and all work in the other slots.
When only 1 GPU is connected to the rig, to slot 3, and the monitor is connected to that GPU, windows starts, but the GPU doesn't appear in device manager.

I wonder if it's a Windows setting somewhere that needs to be adjusted.
If it was a motherboard/GPU problem, then Windows probably wouldn't load while the GPU was connected to the monitor.

3 ProBTC motherboards that have the same issue.
Surely some one else has had/heard of this issue with a slot not working.

Hum..
