But now these type of "verified" accounts are getting looked at by their respective companies and re-evaluated so you need to prove even more that you are the one true owner of the account in question, even if you verified it earlier with address information and a credit card.
They are all asking for either a selfie with you holding your driver's license or now a webcam video message to them saying it is you.
Some sort of screening process for identification like what the airports are doing now to screen out potential terrorists from enter their respective countries where these travelers are landing.
This is going way to far to get an account "verified" just for the sake of sending a few dollars from one person to the next.
