Does anyone know of any software you can use to mine bitcoins?

Also, do you know of any Litecoin mining pools and where to join?

Thanks

Thanks man. So how's it working out? How much Litecoin a day are you mining? Do you need a huge rig at this point or can you mine with a laptop?

I've been looking around a bit and it seems like it's pretty hard to actually make any money mining right now. Am I wrong in thinking this?

Can you explain more why you think that way? But it's probably true, unless you have some super power mining rig, you probably won't make much at all doing it.

I use give-me-ltc.com and litebonk.com. I don't pool hop, but this at least gives me the option to use another pool if one happens to be down.

GUIminer -scrypt is the way to go. CPU mining isn't really profitable, a pretty common setup is using the 7950's in an open case setup. Just do a search for "7950 rig" and you should find a bunch of helpful stuff.
