I just got logged out and google forced me to change my password! Looks like they're picking up on this!

Some of the code of the Bitcoin client were developed by them, so I wouldn't be surprised.

You got an email saying what from who? Please be careful of phishing attempt. Never click on an email link.

Google has what, a billion users?  Mt Gox has 60k of which only 21k used gmail addresses.  Do you really think Google would force every single user of theirs to change passwords because of this?

I used a gmail account, that was linked to a youtube account, i was requested to change my password when i wanted to log into youtube. I thought i was keylogged and immediately looked at the ip history and saw only i was ever logged in, then i thought i was being phished. then i saw 2 emails, one from mtgox and the other from some other source. I did use a 10 digit password with 2 numbers and an 8 letter word that does exist in the common dictionary. I have since changed my steam password and Google account password, as i don't care about anything else.  I now use 5 words and 6 numbers and punctuation in my passwords.

My Gmail account said I needed to change my password because of suspicious activity. Is this because Google is being proactive and doing it to all Gmail accounts on the hacked list, or was someone repeatedly trying to guess my password?

Do not waste your time debating whether Bitcoin can work. It does work.

"Early adopters will profit" is not a sufficient condition to classify something as a pyramid or Ponzi scheme. If it was, Apple and Microsoft stock are Ponzi schemes.

There is no such thing as "market manipulation." There is only buying and selling.
