-- Let's fast progress and go to the moon!

Due to the divergence on scaling, the evolution of Bitcoin has stagnated for a long time. However, if we do not step forward, Bitcoin will have no future. Therefore, Bixin Pool announces: we will support any scaling proposals which are technologically mature and community-proven so that Bitcoin will progress rapidly.

To scale the block size limit, it does not only take one’s encourage, moreover, there are basic principles to follow when it comes to software upgrades and releases. Bitcoin scaling, in its essence, is a software system upgrade, in which it shall take three steps: 1) develop a mature software; 2)  deploy by the community; 3) vote by the miners. Miners are without doubt the protector and the guardian in the development of Bitcoin.

Again, Bixin Pool will support any scaling schemes which are technologically mature and deployed by the community.

We recognize the New York Consensus. Bixin Pool will support Segwit2x scheme as long as it is technologically mature, and is deployed by the community.

Comparing to other scaling proposals, we consider Segwit as technologically mature and feasible: it has been deployed successfully by numerous wallets within our community, and it has been activated on Litecoin successfully. Given that Segwit2x is based on Segwit, we will support Segwit.

In the future, Bixin Pool will support technical schemes developed by any team as long as they are mature so that Bitcoin can progress rapidly, in the hope that the usage of which will be spread around the world.

Bixin Pool will not, in any sense, in any way, become an obstacle to Bitcoin's development, rather, we will be the stepping stone to the full upgrade of Bitcoin.

Nice one from Bixin Pool and I really hope others will follow put rather than cause unnecessary stagnation or issues for reasons I can only classify as greed. Really looking forward to going to the moon.

How many times :shakes head:

Blocksize increases are not the objective.

Transaction rate increase is the objective.

Blocksize increases are not magic, they come with trade-offs.

It is possible to increase the transaction rate independently of increasing the blocksize. This is the sensible, conservative, engineering driven approach.

tl;dr (lol)

We recognize the New York Consensus. Bixin Pool will support Segwit2x scheme as long as it is technologically mature, and is deployed by the community.
That proposal, while arguably trying to make sense/be compatible with things, is not deployed by the community at all.

Comparing to other scaling proposals, we consider Segwit as technologically mature and feasible: it has been deployed successfully by numerous wallets within our community, and it has been activated on Litecoin successfully. Given that Segwit2x is based on Segwit, we will support Segwit.
When will you start signaling Segwit on Bitcoin? I've checked some blocks mined by you, and they still don't have Segwit.

Bixin Pool will not, in any sense, in any way, become an obstacle to Bitcoin's development, rather, we will be the stepping stone to the full upgrade of Bitcoin.
I congratulate you on having a very healthy stance, unlike certain malicious miners (e.g. Bitmain or BTC.TOP). Keep up the great work.

This is great news.  I'm looking forward to seeing SegWit2X adopted and moving past the current scaling deadlock.

Quote from:  Samson Mow onTwitter
Mining pools in #China are circulating a letter saying they'll support any mature scaling options having community support, meaning #SegWit.

List so far: BTCC, F2Pool, Bixin, & BATPool.

Contention on some phrases aside, which I believe is at least partially owing to language, this is a very healthy move if it is true (especially if the others are following suit). It's pretty rare for the pools from there to be vocal as this, so perhaps we will see more participation and opinion from now on. Could this be partly responsible for today's (inexplicable) rally?

But yes, start signalling support already!

Thank you for such professional statement. Bitcoin deserves more such statements, and much less drama.

SegWit2x = end of deadlock.

Thank you for supporting segwit others must follow your decision, after all, the upgrade of bitcoin protocol to segwit2X might be the solution to this long transaction times we are experiencing right. I believe that by implementing segwit2X in bitcoin, it would be back to normal transaction speeds and will attract more new users as well. I hope others pools will start to support segwit too.

Community support for SegWit2x is equal to zero so far.

The real question is, what about the other pools such as BW and 1Hash. Why are they quiet?

Thank you for such professional statement. Bitcoin deserves more such statements, and much less drama.

SegWit2x = end of deadlock.
This is far from over until: 1) Segwit actually activates before August 1st. 2) There isn't extreme community consensus for the following hard fork. Keep in mind that no Bitcoin Core node (which is the supermajority of the network) would accept a block with that code.

What you and all the miners were supposed to do in the first place, now you are making it to look like that you are doing everyone a big favor.

But you are not actually, you are saving yourselves, LTC already started kicking and I know it doesn't matter BTC or LTC since you all have them both.

You should've signaled SegWit 2 month ago but it's not that late and there is time for other pools to join this sanity movement.

Good to hear that. Hope that bitcoin will soon finish its protocol so that people will return to bitcoin. I am very loyal to bitcoin and even though many people abandon bitcoin, I will still keep staying. Looking forward to seeing the segwit and HF coming soon here
