I have a couple of GPU miners on this pool and so far I like it. Good connectivity from here in TX. Worth giving it a try.

This was a question posted in another thread and I think it was worth sharing. The question was: Q: How does the drop in network hashrate affect users who are still mining Feathercoin.A: Blocks will still be found by the people who remain on the network, only it will take longer to find them as their pools hashrate drops. They won't find more coins, but the pool they are mining in will be more profitable as there are less users to split the rewards between. Our pool is now at 1/4 of the hash rate it had before the difficulty increase (40 MH/s from almost 200 MH/s) so it's taking us longer to find blocks too, but the rewards are much higher to the users still on our pool. https://ftc.d2.cc

Q: Why is it taking so long to get paid for shares of found blocks on your pool?A: Since the difficulty increase, a lot of miners have stopped mining for FTC. The blocks our pool is finding cannot be paid until they are confirmed. With less users on the Feathercoin network, it's taking longer to find blocks which means slower confirmations of our pools blocks. You can check the status of the blocks and how many confirmations they have received on our stats page: https://ftc.d2.cc/statsAuth As soon as the status is "Confirmed", you will receive your reward.

So... We've been pretty busy lately. As mentioned some time ago, I was unhappy with the current front-end and wanted to do a complete rewrite from scratch. I had made up my mind that I would complete this while Solitude was working on a stratum mining pool implementation in c++ and we would release both at the same time before the difficulty re-target. Unfortunately, the re-target time is coming a lot sooner than originally expected with the hard fork and neither of these goals seem like they will be reached before then. However, there's some good news! I have been working on at least getting the layout completed for the front-end redo project and I should have this implemented in the next couple of days. The idea was to clean everything up so it's not just a large clusterf--- of text everywhere AND to build a responsive site to help out everyone who does visit us on mobile devices. A few pages are still not complete (landing page, getting started, login / signup, perhaps some top bar stats & misc other tweaks) but everything else is. Here's a quick tease of the current look:

Want more feathercoins? OK! There's currently bounties in place for 6 upcoming blocks. Should our pool receive these bounties, we will process manual account credits to all miners working on the bounty blocks once the funds have been confirmed! Read about the bounty at http://forum.feathercoin.com/index.php?topic=583.0

The Account Transactions page will shows links to the transaction details on the official Feathercoin block explorer. Keep in mind, these transactions will display as not found on the explorer page until at least 1 confirmation has been made.
Also, it should now be impossible to delete a worker with pending shares.
The reported Network Hashrate has been adjusted to previous 30 block average instead of 120.

We have surpassed our previous record hash rates of the pool and the servers still have plenty of resources for more. However, if you begin to have connection issues we do have a fail-over server for you to add to your miner. Primary Connect: http://pool.d2.cc:9344Fail-over Connect: http://pool2.d2.cc:9344

Account balances are updated after 120 confirmations of the blocks you were mining on. Automatic payouts for users who have a payout threshold set are performed every 30 minutes. PPLNS number shares target is currently 1,000,000 so your payout is calculated over the previous 1,000,000 shares to avoid pool hoppers.
