Mining MAO

Mao is not an easy mine. It is x11, but has on average 480 seconds blocks. You cannot blast it with hashpower and see 100s of blocks rolling in within a few minutes. You will make the difficulty shoot up, though.

Mao will also stake itself to PoS with just a few PoS miners.

So PoW blocks are precious resources to be grabbed and kept. Mao does not require PoW miners unless absolutely nobody stakes it. I will be staking, so it will go the full way regardless.

It is a PoS coin in 2 months, that figure is based on an estimate of the coin count in 2 months.

But it pays 5% interest, so the proportion of the premine against total coins goes down every day after full PoS.

It is not really big at all, plus I take the risk by paying for a listing on Yobit, at about $250.
