They have already received 28 million USD in bitcoins and ethereum.. Am guessing it will hit half or even one billion.
I don't think it will go that high, but 100-200 million seems likely, perhaps even a new record at 200-300 million. |

I think it's going to be a new record since it's the middle of the night for the entirety of the US. All the really big whales who work at hedge funds and VCs will be throwing in tomorrow with who knows how much money. Then we'll really see dilution. |

Same for me. The cap issue means I'm staying well away from this one. We're now a couple of hours into the 13 day ICO, and it's at $50 million. This is going to be massively over-sold, and will drop really fast when it hits the exchanges. |

I think TEZOS ICO needs a maximum cap.
They want to start the ICO with no max cap.
They need investors, but the tokens will be worthless or cheaper on the exchange.
I want to invest but these terms are bad for investors.
Maybe its better for investors..??

when it's at bull market, uncapped ico will raise a lot of money and lead to high premium with little person to take the place, then the bear market comes. |

I see many comments above i agree with. To make my list:
1- capped icos are whale games
2- ico market is overheated, these seed funds are beyond what they are worth
3- greed is not good, People want to buy/dump and get rich. Too many icos of this type
4- uncapped ico actually makes sense, especially vombined with long term lockup of funds.
5- most icos do not even need more than 2m$ but they get 10x-100x that
6- we need consumer applications (like netflix, dropbox). Not more infrastructure (blockchain)
With all the above, i am getting worried for my money on the blockchain.
If we see a bullrun soon, i will exit until bubble deflates.

I'm not convinced by point 4. I understand the argument for it, and I may be wrong, but I still think uncapped is worse than capped in the current climate. But I certainly agree wholeheartedly with the other points. |

If can create crowd sale in 30 days, I think Tezos not need maximum cap because it will help the project can attract a huge investors on the world's. Example is MobileGo in May.

They knew they can collect funds like crazy then decided not to set a maximum capitalization on the crowdsale. This is interesting, how the hell will they do with 10s millions of dollars?

I wouldn't invest in any ICO here. When bubbles burst the IPO markets die. The high flying IPOs that would open double or triple their IPO pricing value, that all vanished when the dot com bubble popped in 2000. Same thing will happen here.

The reality is they have to deliver, uncapped is fine but you better communicate and you better deliver. If you don't it will be a fire sale and everyone will jump ship and it will hurt everyone. In reality the coin is fine, but what does it really deliver? It delivers the ability to change based on voting, this could be a huge success but I don't see how voting and another promise of improved speed give you a competitive edge once the token sale is over

I think it will be very hard to overtake crypto currencies that have already established themselves for a long time now. Where I do see some advantage is that they have a clear path with how to use all their funds and I see they will market it heavily, perhaps even on TV. |
