Let's face it: Litecoin does everything properly which Bitcoin is supposed to do. With real developer, not some shadowy cartoon character, it is weird it's not valued properly.
I think it should be valued at least 1/10th of bitcoin's price, meaning $250 as we speak.
Litecoin is not some 'trying to do everything type of neo-dot-com-vapor-promise-tech to revolutionize the way we can poop anonymously' etc but rather a functioning payment system and very solid and stable store of value.

does what better? the only thing that litecoin does Differently is having faster blocks which is leading to a much higher orphan rates and the fact that because it has a much much smaller network it could activate SegWit way easier than bitcoin can. and this "real developer" has been copying code from bitcoin from day 1. although the developers team of LTC is solid but that doesn't change this fact  I think it should be valued at least 1/10th of bitcoin's price, meaning $250 as we speak.
i completely agree but not because of what you said above but because in a market when shitcoins such as ethereum with lots of bugs scams and a premine the biggest premine of all called Dash can get their price up, LTC is super-under-priced! Litecoin is the only coin without premine. Even bitcoin has some.

The orphaned block rate in LTC is actually low. And unless a person is a miner who happens to find one why would anyone care? It's four times faster and as such one expects more orphans. The number of orphans is insignificant. Relative to the hugh advantage of 8 times the transactions per second of BTC, not to mention how convenient faster blocks are this is a non-issue. |

No, I don't it can. But I think the price of LTC is very low than altcoins in market 2017! I think like ridery99, it can not good but the price need more than 0.02-0.03 BTC, maybe 100-150$ because compared to other potential altcoin like ETC, XMR, FCT ..., this rate is not reasonable. |

Historically LTC has never claimed to be anything other than Silver to Bitcoins gold. Since the beginning the developers have done nothing but, reach out to BTC and other Alts. That hasn't changed. LTC price is going up and whenever that happens you'll see threads either ripping apart LTC or LTC threads ripping apart various coins. This is the internet anyone and their mother can post. Look at the bigger picture and what significant people in the LTC community say. Unless someone is being outright dishonest the LTC community is an inclusive group that accepts other coins. |

Litecoin is silver while Bitcoin is "golden" in most depictions. I think it makes sense in that regard, unless you color the coins differently. As for pricing, considering the bubble most coins are in, Litecoin might not be at the top yet. |

Litecoin price is going up because of the uncertainty about August 1. Bitcoin holders are buying as a hedge. If that uncertainty is removed Litecoin will drop like a rock.

bitcoin has zero premine. it was open to anyone to mine from the first second it was launched. it's everyone else's fault that they didn't catch on sooner. that's why bitcoin is unique. its birth can never, ever be repeated again. litecoin is definitely one of the least disgusting coins out there. let's see what happens with segwit on bitcoin before declaring anything. |

of all alts litecoin is the one i'd choose if i had to walk away from bitcoin. nothing else really comes close. it's still no bitcoin eater though. |

Because litecoin has been activated segwit? Its confirmed faster and low fees? What about if bitcoin activated segwit as well, what will happen? Hopefully those problems will be resolved. Litecoin price still undervalue, simply because its demand isn't so much as bitcoin or ethereum demands. Why? Because not many people attracted to litecoin as much they want to buy bitcoin or other (high price/promising) coins. |
