Hello miners,

I tried deseperatly to make my motherboard MSI Z270-A PRO recognize my cards.

I have
6 1060gtx, all works wel
6 risers USB3 powered, all works well

I update my bios to the one of April
I tryed all the Gen with the Above 4G option.

Nothing is working I am stuck with 5 cards

I also have a G3900 and 4gb ram

What OS? Windows 7 only works with up to 5 unless you patch it.

Yes sorry Windows 10 but the things it is like the motherboard detect all my gpu except for the pci slot 2.

I could say that by looking at the board explorer.

The usb3 riser works fine with others

I could assume it is the riser.
I come from a different batch and whenever I put him with the other it is not recognized

Does not have to be riser itself, but usb cable.
Replace cable with the one on working riser to make sure.
Then just buy cheapest usb3 cable Smiley

I wouldn't recommend going with the cheapest USB cable you can get. had an issue where I bought a Mediasonic USB 3.0 cable on Amazon because I needed a longer riser cable. The pins inside the connector didn't come out enough to make connection with the riser. I had to return it and went with this cable that worked well.
