Hi everyone,

Have two not full GTX 1060 machines running on windows 10, and last one has Gigabyte GA-Z270P-D3 1.0 mobo, 4GB RAM, Celeron G3900. Seems to be running OK, but i have not tried it with 5-6 cards.

So i wonder if this mobo is OK for my future mining rig, it costs ~100EUR in my country. Maybe i could get out with something cheaper? But last time i looked for mobo it was hard to find something with 6 PCIE. I could get something from Amazon.co.uk...

I need mobo for 4x1070 rig at the beginning, maybe later some RXes will arrive or i'll add more 1070. Mining Ethash with Claymores currently.

If i switch to other algo in future will it be more CPU/RAM intensive, or i will still get out with G3900/4GB ram?

Any advice's is appreciated! Thank you!

Gigabyte GA-Z270P is more than capable of handling 6+ GPUs. Go Crazy!

CPU/RAM has no part what-so-ever in mining performance.
