Trading with individuals is always better than trading with services and companies because users charge less fees. As services, you have Bitstamp, Coinbase and a few others. (all depends on the payment method you are planning to pay with). I must also warn you that the verification process could take time and require a lot of info.

I am not really familiar with your country but I assume that there are already Bitcoin service providers operating in your own country. Localbitcoins.com can be a good start but I do highly suggest that you take advantage of local sellers right in your place so you can avoid charges but just be careful, of course.

Now, if you have money in other payment facility like Paypal, Payza, Solidtrustpay, Advcash and similar sites then you can google for a good exchanger which can take your money and can give you Bitcoin in return.

These days there are already many providers online that you can work with. Just be sure that the service provider is credible enough and will not just scam your hard-earned money.

I have searched romania on coinbase's supported country list and couldn't find it. But if you have International VISA debit card than you can buy bitcoin with it from cex.io (try with small amount at first). Or you can search for some local guy near by you who would like to trade bitcoin for local fiats via localbitcoins and paxful.

as you newbie,you should be very careful and know who you approach in buying bitcoin,even in this forum  there are scammers that will take your money and won t send you what you pay for,also your country will also have a role to play ,like in dubai where I am a resident ,i can't use coinbase,so I will advice you check localbitcoins and also search for trusted persons who you can send money to and they will send you your coins,ask for proof from any body you want to buy from to be convince that he or she is real.i have bought 4times from my customer and since then I have double my coins trough trading,wish you good luck

Localbitcoin is one of the best place to buy/sell Bitcoin, Its been running for many years already and i have not yet encountered any problem using their service. You can track the other party stats so that you'll be sure if he is trusted or not before having a deal. Or you can try buying or selling Bitcoin here in Bitcointalk.org just look for a trusted escrow or reputable seller or buyer.

Localbitcoin is a good place to buy bitcoins but I wouldn't suggest a newbie to make a purchase over there because of the associated risks such as scamming, huge price mark ups etc. On the other hand, coinbase is a very newbie friendly place I would say to buy and sell bitcoin since OP is new to the bitcoin world.

You can either use localbitcoins or paxful to trade bitcoin which I find quite convenient for people from countries which is not supported by bitcoin exchange platforms like yours. There are few trusted exchange platforms out there like kraken, bitstamp, coinbase, bitfinex etc check them individually and find out whether they allowed your country for deposits/withdrawals to trade with them.

Offline, you can deal with a trusted one in the real world, You just meet and do the exechange.

I usually use localbitcoin and Unocoin to purchase and sell bitcoin. Unocoin has a high fees of 0.0005 btc but is safe and faster then localbitcoin. localbitcoin is also the best place to purchase or sell bitcoin. localbitcoin is also a safe and fast place to buy bitcoins. That depends on you as what are you going to pay ti get bitcoin. If you PayPal then forget it as there is barely anyone going to exchange for you so it's best you withdraw your PayPal funds for cash.
Now if you want to purchase with cash the best option go to localbitcoins and you will surely find someone. If you wanna do a bank transfer local bitcoin would still be a good option.
If you wanna purchase your credit card you need to submit your documents on coinmama or bitpanda or if you reside in us buy from coinbase.

Hi, welcome to bitcointalk. There are lots of places where you can buy bitcoins or any other altcoins. You can resort to any exchanges if yourUSD funds are online like payeer, advcash or perfectmoney. Also if you want to pay from your back account, you can check localbitcoins.

I have been using localbitcoins website since a long time. Even though I don't buy bitcoins from outside, but I have sold few bitcoins to get cash through this website. They have a built in escrow service which makes the transfer even secure.
