Hello,  I would like to get started with Ripple but I need another user to send me 100 XRP to get started.  I would appreciate the help and will send your XRP back to you immediately after I receive it.  Once I have begun using Ripple I plan on sending 100 XRP loans out to other users to get them started.  Thanks!

Your not going to get 100 XRP back your only getting 25 XRP because ripples requires an account to always have 75XRP to be active so you can't ever go below that level by sending all your xrps from one address to another.

Ok so it turns out he's right, Ripple will not allow me to send more than 50 XRP.  Can I pay you in BTC for this?  I'm sorry I didn't know this.

Or if now that I have the wallet activated I can buy some more XRP and send you your 100 back??  Let me know.  How did you get yours?

Have just sent you 100XRP - don't send them back to me - please just "pay it forward" when your account is looking healthy.

You can use bitstamp, to deposit btcs into ripple, then you can trade those btcs for XRPs a 100 Xrps should be very small amount if 10,000 XRP are going for ~1BTC.

Wow they're up this much? I dumped all but 350 XRP from my 50k for a little over 1 BTC months ago and felt really good. Why do people want to own these things? lol

As a developer, would love access to mess around with Ripple.

If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it greatly!

Because XRP is not intended as something that will just hold value and raise -- it is required to make transactions on the ripple network.  These transactions are valuable --- and not much xrp is needed to make them(however, some XRP is needed to make connections & have an account).

I think XRP are overvalued right now, that being said, but that problem'll solve itself as more of them are distributed.

Well, this is my first time with Ripple too.  Seems that I had missed their giveaway.  If anyone can send me something to get started, I would be grateful

I would also like to play with ripple. It kind of sucks there are no fountains or anything, and you need 100XRP to get started. If anyone is feeling generous...
