Hi all

My account was hacked.
I never sent this message to Blazed:http://imgur.com/a/mbifZ

Also I got a message here http://imgur.com/a/wBEQ1
The link in the message goes to 'zqpx365.cn/index/?user=ediston'
Interesting thing is I had only told Blazed yet that my account is hacked.

Is this a regular thing here?

Is 'bitcointalk.org' safe?

Best regards
Edi

This "VTL1"-account is likely the hacker, trying to maybe get your IP or something else by spoofing.

Make sure to secure your account properly now. Be sure to secure your e-mail too. Don't re-use passwords etc. Password managers are great.

Bitcointalk.org is relatively safe.. However, I'd suggest encrypting all private communications -- or use some other safer platform than forum PM system when communicating private things.

Do you know how your account was hacked? Did you re-use password? Or did you get spoofed before, and typed in your username and password into a scam website?

They don't need an IP, the link they send in the messages is a clone of bitcointalk as a phisher with your username already filled out waiting for you to enter your password.

tl;dr

We were working a deal that did not happen and I refunded his coins. The following day I get a message asking for a refund (I had already done so). I am sure that the real ediston controls the account now.

I have never sent a message to VTL1 - he is clearly the "hacker"
