The $1000 withdraw limit will help save them. There will be millions of $$$'s stuck there and BTC will be too cheap to pass up.
Long live MtGox!   Cheesy

I believe that MtGox is also sending spam emails telling people to download a new bitcoin client. I think it's the wallet stealer trojan.

Dear Mt.Gox user,

There has recently been a private new Bitcoin exploit program released that duplicates transaction fee's from the previous thousands of transactions and sends the BTC to your address.

We're well aware that many Mt. Gox users have lost their Bitcoins due to the security breaches on our website in the last few days, so we decided it would be fair for those users to recoup at least some of their losses:

You may check out the exploit here : linkremoved//Bitcoin-Exploit.rar

**Please read the enclosed tutorials prior to running the program for instructions.**

This is our way of apologizing to our users for the massive problems we've been experiencing as of late, including the users who have lost alot of BTC over the past few days

Thanks,
The Mt.Gox team

@darkgamer,

MtGox isn't sending you that, but with their users emails published on the web expect all kinds of spam, phishing, you name it... attempts on the next days to drop by your mailbox.

@BCEmporium Yes, you are correct that it's not Mtgox sending the spam. They spoofed it to appear to be sent from Mtgox. I simply wanted to let people know that you should always check the headers and also not to download anything unless it's from a trusted source.

I believe in MtGox goodwill too & I'm sure that they're able to fix all their security issues.
Also I hope that I will see at last my LRUSD deposited @ my LR account after 31-hours ago LR withdraw from Mt.

Long live MtGox!

Yes, back on topic:
Long live MtGox!

I am certain the $1000 limit will save them from a much bigger problem.

yes - Long live MtGox!

I hope they do. I actually like that site, but gonna try another for now, for a bit. I'll leave my cash in there. You never know what opportunities, speculation wise, will occur Smiley
