Just working on a new mining build with multiple 1060 6GB cards but I am having trouble getting the cards on risers to work. Not sure where I am going wrong so any help would be appreciated. I am at the very start so will go through all the steps I have done.

Connect all system parts – no cards
Install windows using integrated graphics
Update BIOS to latest
Install 1 card direct in board PCIe x16 slot 1- SUCCESS
Install latest NVidia drivers - SUCCESS
Remove the card from slot, add powered riser to that slot, and insert that card into the riser. – FAIL

Card in same slot using riser will not show up in device manager. Card direct to slot- fine. Card in same slot via a riser fails? I have tried multiple risers.

What version riser are you using and how are you powering it?

Version 006C, powered by molex straight from PSU. I uploaded a photo here http://imgur.com/a/C6VrW

I am thinking it could be a bad batch. Just tested another riser in a different machine and nothing. Is there any other way I could test the riser to make sure its good?
