An antidote for the garbage article. That article was entirely focused on volatility, but this guy has pointed why bitcoin is not a garbage, including the store of value aspect.

Bitcoin is a viable medium of exchange.

Bitcoin does not have a central bank diluting its value.

Ease of use is making Bitcoin into a more accessible currency.

This point is worth noting.

Because there is a central bank that “backs” said fiat currency. And, that central bank is moving society forward by wasting away said fiat currency by deflating the currency.

But, as a store of value, Bitcoin has fiat currencies beat all day long and will continue to do so. There are 7,000,000,000 people on the planet that potentially could use Bitcoin. There are only 21,000,000 coins in existence. That is why the value keeps surging.

Bitcoin is indeed a viable medium of exchange, but to become a dependable one bitcoin needs to be embraced by more people which eventually would happen.

True, bitcoin is far from garbage. But fact that it can make YOU profit or YOU use it as an emergency money doesn't make it any better. This are just things that are beneficial for you, in the present time and it is because you are early adopter. But the article is clearly talking about money in general. Real benefits of bitcoin will be seen when it will really be one of the major currencies of the world.
It is true that the value of bitcoin should be increasing, but that is consequence of limited supply and inflation of FIAT money.

Well the fact that bitcoin can surely be use to profit because of the price increase is a great offer for us, and the bonus for this is bitcoin is definitely a currency that can engage in all sort of transaction and taking a much more easier way in to make a lot of transaction issue more convenient in the future because there will be a number of people that will surely adapt bitcoin so we can make a direct transaction towards it, well major currencies I think bitcoin is a currency but bitcoin doesn't have a direct country to make it as currency, bitcoin is more on the commodities type of investment, and earning it in many ways was the thing that I like the most on bitcoin, whether it will be on mining, signature campaigns, faucets (even if it is time consuming) trading, and captcha solving!

It is quite funny that the more there are people talking about Bitcoin like it is some type of a garbage, a scam, a hype or anything that can be considered as a negative review, the more people are taking notice of Bitcoin and the more we can see the value of Bitcoin pointing upwards.

What is happening right now in Venezuela is a testament of how Bitcoin can be useful when there would be economic difficulties and political instability...even if the government is not officially recognizing Bitcoin.

As time goes by, we are expecting more and more practical applications for Bitcoin and the more we can see how valuable it can be as a form of money, as an investment or as a newly found technology that can be utilized for the greater good of humanity.

Bitcoin is not perfect but it is becoming much better compared to what traditional financial systems can offered to us.

I'm one of the people on the team "Bitcoin isn't garbage" but your points are the shitty ones that aren't going to help anyone. Saying a value increase is going to help people could work with anything, well yeah if I buy this water today maybe I can make $1 on it tmmrow if I sell it. The point is dumb and isn't even on which is helpful in the least.

MOVING ONTO THE POINT ABOUT EMERGENCY MONEY. How good can this emergency money be if you really can't even use it in the least? Not like many people accept it in a real life non-internet environment as not many shops accept it (SOME DO THOUGH!)

Some people come here and say BTC is trash due to the medias bashing of it and saying it's only usage is for laundering, gambling, drugs, etc. That's fair as that's the only thing they know about the currency but they must be educated. Also, BTC is facing large network issue right now so it's not like we're in the best state as well here.

Though, I am still on team embrace Bitcoin.

I've read the article from the link but not the other one that states Bitcoin is a garbage. I see no point about reading a garbage article in the first place so why will I even bother. The main article is factual but does not have new information at all. Well to a person who is new about cryptocurrency and Bitcoin, the article would serve as an enlightenment.

I swear when I read stuff like this (the original article) it just has to be FUD. I just couldn't be bothered to research a topic I wasn't actually interested in; the level of detail in these articles suggest a level of involvement that makes you question the writer's motives. You know this much about bitcoin, yet you see so few redeeming qualifies? Doesn't sound genuine to me.


I think these guys buy on the dips they create, using their platform to temporarily effect the price. If bitcoin were regulated like other assets, stuff like that would be illegal

After reading this article, I totally agree with this guy, I feel like the hate towards Bitcoin is way too much and way too unsupported, I feel like there are way too many people who hate bitcoin and don’t now anything about it. I think the reason why is because so many people hate bitcoin right now is that it seems like an opponent to their daily lives. People hate change and bitcoin is a change to those people’s payment options.
 
This person who made the bitcoin is trash article either has some personal vendetta against bitcoin or is just oblivious to all the good that bitcoin has done. Why didn’t he mention how bitcoin created jobs for people, how is a new piece of technology that can make people’s lives easier? The recent events that happened in Venezuela is an example of this.

According to me fees is only big head ache for all the people who are all using bitcoins. You can find the so much implementation on blockchain technology and bitcoin. There many ICO coming up and many blockchain data security system by the international finance projects.

Exactly, bitcoin is not a trash, people who said and posted those kind of words does not know anything about bitcoin and maybe they cannot see how beneficial is when you hold a coin. People need more enlightenment on how they can have and the possitive benefits of having it despite of the long process it takes in transaction now we need to consider the massive transactions it is taking every now and then so it does not mean we need to consider things before judgement.
